Spicy Pepper Cocktail

The W.A.S.P. (whiskey and spicy pepper). Cute name for a cocktail. Interesting ingredients: Old Forester, ginger, lemon, jalapeno, bitters and ginger beer.

The truffle popcorn was amazing.

All the makings of a good drink. And yet, it was not. All I could taste was bourbon. Don’t get me wrong, I like a strong pour. But this. I had to look at the ingredients again because that was the only thing I could taste. If I wanted bourbon neat, I would have ordered it that way. I really hate an unbalanced cocktail.

Thankfully the truffle popcorn was delicious!

The ingredients had such high potential. I’m not giving up. I’m going to ask Kimberly Elise to go in the lab and create her version.
