As I continue to look at my Thanksgiving table for cocktail inspiration, I landed on my mother’s apple pie. If you’ve ever had the pleasure of having a slice, you know it is nothing short of delicious. Truly.

Cinnamon’s Kiss is a good liquid proxy. Cinnamon, apple cider and bourbon. This is a great after dinner cocktail. Sweet, with a big mouth feel, yet surprisingly refreshing. This is good for sharing. To amp up the mouth feel, I added egg white, which made it frothy; but that is totally optional. I wouldn’t batch it with the egg white, so if you’re serving the masses skip that ingredient.

Cinnamon Syrup. A little goes a long way. If you love cinnamon, and I do, you can up the amount of cinnamon. My recipe balances the cinnamon without overpowering the rest of the cocktail. It’s tasty. I’m totally all for this cocktail. Might be my 2021 holiday cocktail. Ooh, yeah, just maybe.
