Brown Derby
I love a Brown Derby. There is something about grapefruit and bourbon that makes my mouth sing. I was recently joining a virtual birthday party and the crew wanted a cocktail we could sip on. Now, full disclosure, some are doing dry January – that will NEVER be a thing in my house. Nope!
Anyhoots, it’s grapefruit season and a Brown Derby immediately came to mind. It can be made as fussy (my way) or as easy as you like. And by fussy, I mean squeezing the grapefruit to extract the juice. Yup I did it. I also made enough honey syrup so I can sip on it without all the prep for the next week or so. But really, grab some off the shelf pink grapefruit juice if you want. This three-ingredient cocktail is truly a delight.
