Queen Elizabeth II is everything. I’m an out and proud anglophile who loves all things royal family. I remember Diana’s wedding, William and Harry’s births, their marriages and when Megan Markle became the second woman of color in the British monarchy – Queen Charlotte being the first.

Anyhoots, it’s the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and I needed to come up with someone delightful and tasty. I started with Chambord because it’s purple(royalty) and there is a crown at the top of the bottle. I added bourbon and a splash of club soda for bubbles, it was tasty. Subtle but packs a punch, kind of like my version of the Her Majesty the Queen.

Long Live the Queen!
