I am an Amaretto Sour type of girl. Much to the dismay (not really) of Kimberly Elise 😊. I like sweet drinks – I can see the grimace on her face. I don’t fool with bourbon unless she’s making cocktails. However, this drink right here just may sway me further to the dark side. 

We were recently out to dinner and Kimberly Elise asked about the Peanut Butter Old Fashioned. I was half listening when she inquired about  it, but when I heard the magic words: sweet and Screwball I was all ears. I’ll take it.   Did i mention I don’t drink bourbon cocktails like that. Kimberly Elise said she needed to taste a sample before committing, I was all in with no questions asked. I created a love affair with Screwball.

My glass arrived on the rocks with a twist of orange floating on top and Kimberly Elise's sample on the side.  My first sip was so good. I hardly tasted the bourbon, lol. I told you I’m not a bourbon drinker. I could taste it; but the drink lead with the note of peanut butter and it was really sweet. I’m a fan. Kimberly Elise, not so much. Don't worry her sample did not go to waste. 

If you like peanut butter, then this Old Fashioned with a sweet twist is for you – try it. I guarantee you will not be disappointed. I bet I could get Kimberly Elise to make this at our next get together. I'll even bring the main ingredient 😉
