In Your Feelings ♥

Valentine’s Day was this week and seeing the excitement of my son for all of the candy he received at school made me far less cynical about the made-up holiday than in years past. I just can’t with this holiday. And so, I present my latest concoction, lol

I knew I wanted a red cocktail in keeping with the season. I used pomegranate juice because I also wanted something tartish in keeping with my feelings of the holiday. I also like pomegranate juice, a lot; so that helps. I used a big bourbon to stand up to the pomegranate juice and finally topped it off with a splash of club soda for the bubbles. Everyone loves bubbles. And really, this is one of my favorite glasses, so there’s that.
