Honeybee Delight

I love to entertain. Either in my home or someone else’s, I love creating a vibe or scene with music and cocktails, oh and food. LOL

Recently, I co-hosted a dear friend’s housewarming party. We had it midafternoon, so we decided on heavy hors d’oeuvers and a signature cocktail, which I was responsible for. I chickened out at the 11th hour and suggested we might want to get something non alcoholic just in case. To which my co-host responded “you do know our Line Sisters, right?!?!” Ha!

Honeybee Delight

Yummers

I struck the right balance between sweet and tart with a combination of lemon juice and pineapple juice. I made 4 gallons and used a bottle and a half of @Bulleit Bourbon. As I type that last part, that sounds like a lot of bourbon, but it really wasn’t. See, I DO know my Line Sisters! ;-) Bulleit held up well and didn’t overpower the drink. It added a nice dimensionality to the drink that gave it a bit of a punch without knocking you off your feet. Non bourbon drinkers raved about it. And everyone praised my mixology skills. I got skills ya’ll!
