I’ve heard about @Luxardo Maraschino Cherries for a while now – how they added depth to a drink, they were sweet but not cloying, they elevated the home mixologist to a new level. And on and on.  At the start of the pandemic, there was a run on them on Amazon.

As I was doing my pandemic grocery shopping, I stumbled across them in the grocery store. After 8 weeks home with a toddler, working full time and just plain exhausted – I bought a jar. I paused for about 3 seconds, cause the cost is $18.00 a jar. Let me say, it is worth every penny. Every. Penny. Period. The. End.

I’ve been drinking Old Fashioned cocktails every night. I mean they are delicious. The syrup is fantastic. The cherries are firm and sweet and delightful. Read the first paragraph again, they are all of those things.
