I haven't had any AE in a while and couldn't catch any on the shelves. So I considered myself fortunate to stumble across some early one Thursday morning and stocked up, for my own sake :)

AE's nose  starts with hints of flamed caramel, the palate (neat) offers vanilla extract and honey with some peppercorn on the end.  The finish is super smooth, could be classified as medium, It doesn't really leave legs in the glass but with each sip, it gets better. One of the more complex of my favorite bourbons.

I had this with a Rocky Patel cigar, it matched the caramel of the cigar while offering a bold taste on my palate..
